ramp it up

Building More Than Access

Every ramp we build is a lifeline — restoring dignity, freedom, and connection.

Mobility shouldn’t be a barrier to belonging. That’s why the Ramp It Up program exists — to provide free wheelchair ramps for caregivers, seniors, and individuals with disabilities who need safe, accessible entry to their homes. Whether it’s one step or ten, we’re here to bridge the gap — one build at a time.

Why Ramps Matter

Imagine being unable to enter or exit your home safely. For many caregivers and their families, this is a daily reality. Through community donations and volunteer efforts, we're changing that — one ramp at a time.

Real Stories, Real Impact

In December, we built three ramps for two veterans and a young woman paralyzed in a car accident. One recipient, Mr. Richard, faced the challenge of bringing his paralyzed wife home from the hospital. Thanks to community support, we constructed a ramp that now allows him to safely care for his wife at home.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

Your contribution goes a long way.

Your generosity makes mobility possible.

Every dollar helps us purchase lumber, tools, and materials for ramps — and covers critical costs that allow our volunteer crews to build safely and efficiently. No gift is too small when the impact is life-changing. Whether it’s a one-time donation or ongoing support, you’re helping someone regain access to their home, their community, and their independence.

Let’s talk ramps. We build them with care — and we build them to last.

Our current ramp builds include two types:

Wooden Ramps – Custom-designed on-site, made with pressure-treated lumber, perfect for homes with specific entryway needs.

Aluminum Ramps – Modular and fast to install. Ideal for temporary access or locations where wood isn't a long-term solution.

We assess each situation and choose the most effective type based on site needs, safety, and budget. All ramps are installed by trained volunteers or professionals and meet ADA safety standards whenever possible.

FOR CONTRACTORS

Put your name behind the build.

Sponsorships fuel our mission — and give your business or organization a front-row seat to the impact you’re helping make. From individual ramp builds to full project underwriting, we offer tiered sponsorship packages with recognition on-site, online, and at special events. Help us build more ramps and more awareness, together.

Helping those with disabilities, Veterans or the elderly who do not have insurance or qualify for another ramp build project. Please note we are self-funded, and if you are willing to let us do a news story on your ramp need that would help us build ramps for you along with countless others who are stuck in their homes. We need to get more community support to help everyone in need (there are many throughout the state). Also - if you can contribute financially or know of a business who would help to sponsor, we can build your ramp quicker.
