We organize surprise reveals, host caregiver events, and provide vital resources across our communities.

Recently, we've expanded our mission to include building wheelchair ramps for caregivers and families in need.



We invite you to join us as a volunteer, sponsor, or community partner.

It takes a selfless person to take care of another. We have made it our mission to recognize, acknowledge, and celebrate nonprofessional & professional caregivers in Mississippi who choose to serve those in need on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis.

Here's what we are all about...

The Organization...

We are a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit located on the beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast whose mission is to Celebrate Everyday Caregivers like Heroes. We are headquartered in Gulfport, MS.

The Heroes...

Professional & Nonprofessional Caregivers who sacrifice their personal life and financial gains for family, loved ones & the community. They may be isolated, stressed, overwhelmed, and have no outside support. We want to change that.

The Mission...

We aim to give Caregivers a guilt-free day of relaxation and fun, or acknowledgement in some way.  This allows them to refresh, refocus, and rejuvenate their minds, bodies, and spirits so they can continue the invaluable service they provide to others.

The Result...

The results are Caregivers who receive opportunities to relieve stress, escape the routine, and receive appreciation for their selflessness...a little love and support to honor all they do every day.

Our Inspiration...

Even the strongest rock needs a solid foundation upon which to rest. Mississippi Heroes (MH) is a non-profit organization dedicated to recognizing our everyday heroes who selflessly provide care to others while asking nothing in return. Caregivers provide the strength and stability to so many and often neglect themselves while supporting others. 

As a non-profit business, we organize fundraisers, seek donations from local business, and leverage the power of local volunteers to provide relief to our well-deserved caregivers. Through a nomination process, we provide local heroes with the opportunity to enjoy a stress and guilt-free escape from the routine.  This helps them refresh, refocus, and rejuvenate their minds, bodies, and spirits so they can continue the invaluable love and support they provide.
